I visited Richmond Park today for the first time! I fell in love with the place! It was lovely and I can’t wait to go back again, take some more photos and film clips! This is one for my collection!

Starting my internship officially this week was great! I worked in the office on Wednesday and from home on Thursday. Setting up the social media which was daunting at first but I soon got into it and I loved it! Roll on the next full week!

I love photography competitions and I love ones even more when they are social media ones! This one from Coke Zone can be played along with Twitter and Instagram - just by sending in your photographs with the topic of day. It is to with their campaign for #ReasonsToBelieve.
Today was day 4, with the theme of LIGHT and I entered this sunset photograph of mine and they retweeted it! It was great to see other people’s interpretations of ‘Light’ and I look forward to the next few days of more themes and talented photographers!

Saw a link to this on Twitter, and it sounds like a good idea for a film! It’s on Tuesday, so will be good to try and catch it. I love that he combines photography and film.

What a great idea! I really hope the photographs do this idea for a social experiment justice! I will be following the updates from 20 January!

A great debate! I love the fact she has put the images side by side. I agree with a professional, but I agree that nothing can replace images by family and friends - some of which may be budding photographers like myself a couple of years ago at a wedding!

I have been following @Shooting_Beauty for awhile now, and they have provides good content. I have just discovered tonight about #sbhour where the hashtag is used to say hi, promote yourself, help others and connect and collaborate! It sounds great! Every Thursday 8-9. Unfortunately I only caught on in the last few minutes but I managed to follow a couple of people and inquire about a creative photography shoot. I will now search #sbhour and have a flick through some talent and connect!

Even better that Shooting Beauty re-tweeted my tweet:

Thinking about social media, and my new potential line of work - these may come in handy. It is always worth having a refreshing thought about what social media means, and how it is evolving. This is where Facebook and Twitter differ so much, because Facebook is aimed at a personal profile and life story as it were. Whereas with Twitter, I have found it is much more about connecting with people in your industry, and even those outside your industry and having a conversation. In terms of work life - Twitter is the one to go for. People can still share snippets of their personal life, but not too much.

Here are my favorites from the selection:

-Don’t Always Talk About Yourself: Interacting and sharing content of others and for others.

-Check the Date: Find what is going on at the moment related to your industry, this will be relevant for yourself, and for your current followers and may get you potential new connections.

-Quotations and Questions: I love a quote and I ought to take this one into consideration.

-Add Visuals: Coming from a creative background, I think visuals work so well when it comes to anything!

-Search for Sources: These could be inspirational websites, there are a lot of creative ones that I look at and enjoy and will usually tweet about them for others to see.
